Upload Schedule of My YouTube Channels

Most of you who are interested in my different content will already know this, but I just wanted to share the posting schedule for my YouTube content for those who may be newer to my work and not know:


Monday’s 10pm (UK time): Sleep Meditation Creation Session on my Sleep Meditation channel. This is where the sleep meditations on my channel are created. I created for you, with you. In this session viewers suggest ideas they would like me to build a therapeutic sleep meditation around, which I create for them live-on-air.

Tuesday’s 11pm (UK time): Sleep Meditation Bedtime Story for Grownups on my Sleep Meditation channel. This is usually a sleep meditation that was created a few weeks earlier during a Sleep Meditation Creation Session and is of higher quality audio than what was heard during that session and has been edited and turned into a standalone video. This track is then also made available as a downloadable MP3 in my Sleep Meditations Downloads Shop and every few months once I have created enough new tracks to make a new album I create a digital album of about 10-15 tracks. The album and tracks are then available for purchase on Amazon Music Downloads and iTunes and available for streaming on Amazon Music Streaming, Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, Napster, Tidal and eMusic (as of writing this, I have about 180 sleep meditations available on streaming and downloads services – all tracks from 2017 and earlier, first album of 2018 tracks, all 2019 and 2020 tracks, cat and dog stories, Christmas stories, dragon’s fire stories). Wednesday’s 9pm (UK time): Usually Streaming Playing a Game on my MegaDan Gaming channel. This is usually me streaming playing through a game. Sometimes it may be a pre-recorded video. I stream playing games from various consoles including NES, SNES, N64, Gameboy’s, DS, Master System, Megadrive, Game Gear, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, PSP.

Wednesday’s 11pm (UK time): Sleep Meditation Bedtime Story for Grownups 3-hour long videos with background music on my Dan Jones meditation channel. This is a sleep meditation which is or has also been posted on my main Sleep Meditation channel but on this channel it has background music which continues on after the meditation has finished. Currently I post meditations with background music 3x per week on this channel. In the future there will be meditations with sound effects, meditation music and more.

Thursday’s 11pm (UK time): Vintage Story or Fairy Tale on my Vintage Stories channel. This is usually me reading through old novels, short stories or fairy tales etc. The important thing is that it is works which are out of copyright (I may also at some point read my own novels/short stories as obviously I hold copyright for these), so it is usually novels, short stories or fairy tales etc from early 1920’s and earlier.

Friday’s 11pm (UK time): Sleep Meditation Bedtime Story for Grownups 3-hour long videos with background music on my Dan Jones meditation channel. This is a sleep meditation which is or has also been posted on my main Sleep Meditation channel but on this channel it has background music which continues on after the meditation has finished. Currently I post meditations with background music 3x per week on this channel. In the future there will be meditations with sound effects, meditation music and more.

Sunday’s 8pm (UK time): Psychology or Self-Help/Personal Development Video on my Mind Changers channel. Every other week I post content on the channel and every other week neuroscientist Dr David Lewis posts content on the channel (so there is a new post every Sunday). Our posts cover many topics from self-help, personal development and wellbeing, to educating and sharing something interesting from the world of psychology, to posting self-hypnosis and guided meditation videos and sharing videos teaching about topics like hypnosis, hypnosis demonstrations, autism and parenting, etc.

Sunday’s 11pm (UK time): Sleep Meditation Bedtime Story for Grownups 3-hour long videos with background music on my Dan Jones meditation channel. This is a sleep meditation which is or has also been posted on my main Sleep Meditation channel but on this channel it has background music which continues on after the meditation has finished. Currently I post meditations with background music 3x per week on this channel. In the future there will be meditations with sound effects, meditation music and more.

NEW MEDITATION MUSIC – Peaceful Piano, Deep Sleep & Dream (3 Hour Meditation Music Based on the Science of Sleep)

3 hour meditation music, created based on the science of sleep.

FOR SLEEP, DEEP RELAXATION OR TO AID MEDITATION OR SELF-HYPNOSIS

This track (you can purchase this meditation music as an Mp3 here) uses rhythms similar to binaural beats (but unlike binaural beats which require the use of headphones to work, they can work without requiring headphones) for brain entrainment as well as certain frequencies, repetitions and rhythms to match relaxed breathing and pulse rate and help guide you through the process of sleep from beta waves of wakefulness, through a period of alpha waves to theta waves of stage 1 sleep, to theta and alpha waves of stage 2 sleep, to delta waves of stage 3 sleep and very slow delta waves of stage 4 sleep and up through stages 3 and 2 so that 90 minutes in you are at the REM stage of sleep with beta and theta waves then after 20 minutes of REM having completed a first natural sleep cycle, passing back through down through the stages, 2, 3, and 4 into deep sleep again before heading back to the second nightly REM stage completing a second natural sleep cycle.

Many similar tracks will claim to be ‘delta wave’ tracks or ‘theta wave’, or ‘alpha wave’ tracks, etc., yet that isn’t all there is to sleep. Deep sleep involves delta waves, but you pass through other sleep stages before deep sleep which are also important and after deep sleep you pass on to REM sleep which is a very important stage of sleep. Tracks which just focus on a single brainwave for brain entrainment miss guiding and facilitating your journey through a healthy nights sleep. This track alone guides you through the sleep cycle that average healthy adult goes through every night for the first two cycles. In an average night you would spend about 10 minutes drifting from wakefulness (mainly Beta), through a hypnagogic state (progressing from Beta, through Alpha, towards Theta) for perhaps 5 minutes to stage one sleep (mainly Theta), you will spend about 10 minutes in stage one sleep before progressing on to stage two sleep (mainly Theta with bursts of Alpha) which you will spend about 10 minutes in before progressing to stage three sleep (mainly high Delta) for about 15 minutes, then on to stage four sleep (mainly low Delta) for about 30 minutes, then back through stage three (for about 5 minutes) and stage two (for about 5 minutes) to REM (dreaming) sleep for about 20 minutes (mainly Beta and Theta waves) and this is the end of the first cycle taking about 110 minutes to this point, then you head back from REM, to stage two, then stage three, then stage four again, but all slightly quicker then during the first cycle with slightly shorter time spent in stage four the second and subsequent times, then back up to the second nightly period of REM which lasts slightly longer than the first and each time during the night in healthy adults it lasts slightly longer, with the period just before waking up being the shortest period of stage four deep sleep and the longest period of REM sleep.

Each cycle from the beginning, through to REM takes about 90 minutes, then there is about 20 minutes of REM (the second round is about 85 minutes with 25 minutes of REM, etc) before heading through the cycle to the next period of REM. So you would normally get 5-6 cycles in per night. This track is the first two and if repeated, is a close approximation of the whole nightly cycle.

Hypnotic Memories (Sleep Story)

This is a very personal sleep meditation, it was recorded during a live sleep meditation creation session as a tribute to my best friend shortly after he took his life, covering our shared interests, a replication of one of the first hypnotic inductions I created for him about 20 years ago, etc. This was very emotional to record and had tears in my eyes for parts of recording this. This sleep meditation means a lot to me and hopefully you will like it also. As well as helping with anxiety, stress and worry, this has been created to help with the grieving process.

This is a deep sleep hypnosis, guided sleep meditation sleep story for grownups designed, like all my deep relaxation stories, to calm an overactive mind, reduce stress, worry and anxiety while helping you to fall asleep quickly, tackling insomnia. 

This is a long sleep story for grownups created during a livestream with ideas from viewers. This healing sleep story for grownups is a bedtime story for grownups about a young man walking up a mountain path to a rock high up the mountain where they sit, look back at how far they have come, before drifting into a reverie and discovering themselves sat in a captains chair of a star ship. The ship heads to a destination. They head down in a shuttle from the ship to a planet. They land on the planet near dense woodland and a lake. They touch the grass-like plant on the ground. They hear what sounds like humpback whale call. They walk through the woodland to the lake, setting up camp on the edge of the lake. They see a humpback whale breaching in the lake. The next day, they check on the humpback whales and play with a dolphin. After a while, they find themselves drifting out of the reverie and finding themselves sat on that rock on the mountain where they release an urn of ashes out to the wind before continuing up the mountain to the summit. Once at the summit, they parachute from the top of the mountain and touchdown on the edge of the river running through the forest. They use wood they find and the parachute to create a boat before rowing down the river to a nearby town, check-in to a hotel, go to their room, settle down in bed and drift comfortably asleep. As they fall asleep, they find themselves awakening in an armchair. They notice in a mirror, how they have aged and wonder where all the years have gone. They sit back down in that chair and write about their experiences before heading back into their minds, creating incredibly realistic inner experiences as if they are really in those experiences. Later in the day, they sit looking out over the garden while stroking their cat on their lap before heading to bed and drifting asleep.

Some background to my choice of metaphors in this story:
When Graham was still in his teens he wanted to know what it would be like to grow old, to lead a life, so we did hypnosis and time distortion so that 5 minutes of real-world time was a lifetime of hypnotic time. He experienced a whole lifetime in that 5 minutes, then we spent hours talking about his experience. He was cremated and will have his ashes scattered in a hilly, countryside location. One of the first unscripted inductions I ever created was when he asked if I could create a Star Trek induction for him and so I made one, using increasing warp speed as a deepener. We went camping together and were always inventing things etc…

Genie in the Bottle (Sleep Story)

This is a long sleep story for grownups created during a livestream with ideas from viewers. This healing sleep story for grownups is a bedtime story for grownups about a woman waking up in a hotel wrapped in a duvet cover. At breakfast, the woman watches the other customers and tries to work out what she can about them from her observations. After breakfast, she heads into the local town, climbs into the back garden of an old building. She enters and explores this old building. In a room, the woman finds a prism, she reflects rainbow light around the room. She finds an unusual looking book in a box which contains a golden key. She finds another book, she places this in her backpack. She uses a pendulum to dowse to find what she is looking for. She finds a book. She reads through that old book before leaving the building and heading to a nearby park where she continues reading that book and taking notes on what she is reading. The woman hunts down a stream that may be the fountain of youth. She drinks some of the water before searching for a cave. She discovers the cave and heads into the cave. In the cave, she discovers a room with silver wall, floors and door and a green bottle on a plinth. She opens the bottle, to find herself sat in a meadow. She wondered where she was. She could see a river, a lake and a small cabin. She walks towards the cabin where she passes a fox cub, sleeping under a hedge. A fox comes over to her with its cubs and talks to her. She heads into the cabin where she sees a cat sleeping in front of the fire. She sees a man in a purple robe with a purple floppy hat. He introduces himself as the genie in this bottle. She is confused to discover that she is inside the bottle. As the woman sits down, she realises that the furniture sings songs of her movement. She relaxes back in the chair and talks with the genie before heading outside the cabin and fishing with the genie. She then asks her wishes before leaving the cave, finding her way back to a meadow at night time. She heard someone walking towards her. She recognised that it was the genie. They sat beside her. They thanked her for the wishes she made and gives her a coin that she can use to communicate with them in the future. The woman returned to her hotel, settled for the night, the next day she explored the town she was staying in, before heading home the next day, where she enjoyed falling asleep in her own bed.

The Mirror Portals (Sleep Story)

This is a deep sleep hypnosis, guided sleep meditation sleep story for grownups designed, like all my deep relaxation stories, to calm an overactive mind, reduce stress, worry and anxiety while helping you to fall asleep quickly, tackling insomnia. 

This is a long sleep story for grownups created during a livestream with ideas from viewers. This healing sleep story for grownups is a bedtime story for grownups about you finding yourself sailing on the ocean at nighttime. You drift asleep on the boat and find yourself dreaming of being in a room of mirrors. You pass through a mirror and find yourself in the past, you hear a friend behind you. You recognise them as being a friend from school. You find that the two of you are exploring the woods. You discover a treehouse and enter the treehouse. You wish this moment could last. After being in the treehouse, you head back to through the mirror. Your friend says that they are always with you. You pass through the mirror again and find yourself sitting in a conservatory at home reading a book. You start to wonder whether you have astral travelled. You talk with a friend before they head to bed. You find your way back through the mirror and find another mirror which you head through, you find yourself in a meadow, gazing at the stars. You realise that you don’t recognise any of the constellations. As you notice something rising in the sky, you notice that it is a Saturn-like planet and you realise that you are on a terraformed moon around that planet. You fall asleep on the grass and awaken to curious butterflies, you gets asked if you would like something to eat and realise that there are scientists here in research stations. You eat with them while looking at their technology. You discover you are many thousands of years in the future around a planet around a distant star. The scientists explained that the mirrors were portals. You head back through the mirror back to the room, the mirrors begin to fade and you find yourself back on the boat. You continue your journey, see whales, approach land. As night falls, you arrive at your destination – a secret cove. You head to a cabin in the cove, you relax for a while before heading to bed, looking forward to the next few days on holiday, as you drift peacefully asleep.

This is a long sleep story for grownups created during a livestream with ideas from viewers. This healing sleep story for grownups is a bedtime story for grownups about being on an old steam train. You travel on the steam train with a friend, heading north in the UK. You relax in your seat and comfortably drift asleep dreaming about being in a row boat, rowing along the side of a forest. You pull over and camp by the edge of the river. As you fall asleep in this dream, you realise you are dreaming about falling asleep. The next morning, you wake up greeted by a swam of beautiful butterflies that settle into a tree. You continue your journey walking along the river bank and then into the forest. You discover a clearing with an ancient temple. You walk into the temple, finding it a calm and relaxing place to be. You descend below the temple where you find a chamber with a proto-language on the walls of the chamber. The writing tells the story about aliens visiting and starting this culture, ending with a magic spell described which can connect you to the Gods. You give the spell a go. You discover that you connect with an automated psychic beacon. You find that knowledge and wisdom is transmitting into you. As you exit the temple, you begin to notice the sounds and movement of the train and find yourself awakening on the train again. As the journey continues in the early morning shortly before sunrise, you notice lightning flashing among the mist outside and then there is darkness, followed by seeing a view out of the window of mountains. The train comes to a halt. The guard tells the passengers that there is nothing to worry about, something strange has happened. As you look behind the train, you notice that there seems to be a portal which the train has passed through. A scientist arrives and tells the passengers that a science experiment has gone wrong and accidently created this portal. They say that there are 8 rifts open around the central experiment. They have been trying to check each portal to make sure nothing comes through them, but this one has a train which has gone through it. The scientists help get the train back through the portal, before closing the portal. On arrival at your destination, you have dinner before heading to bed. The next day after breakfast, you go hiking and meet someone out walking a cat. You stroke the cat before continuing your journey. You find a warm lake which you swim in. After swimming, you head to a nearby cabin. In the cabin, you open a book which emits a blue light. You discover that many of the books emit light. As you touch the side of the bookshelf, it vanishes, revealing an new world. The person with the cat arrives at the cabin. The cat seems to be looking at something, you wonder what it is looking at. Someone dressed in purple suddenly appears. They explain about the way the world used to be, with witches and wizards and fantastical creatures. They share that the portal in the bookcase is a portal to a spirit world. After your encounter, you head back to the hotel, spend some time in the spa, enjoying a relaxing break, before heading back home to London and experiencing the pleasure of being home, sleeping in your own bed.
